1993 Demo Tape
On this page:
"1993 Demo Tape": These songs were never formally released on any label, and they were supposedly made at either Tom Linton's garage or at Orangewood Recording in Mesa, AZ. Jim Adkins may have just joined the band in time to make these demos. Before the recording, Mason Cooper (original drummer) and Rick Birch (original and current bassist) had left the band because of artistic differences with Tom. Zach Lind had known Tom and Jim and was recruited to play drums, and Mitch Porter to play bass. Mason and Rick formed the band Carrier and recorded some songs that appeared on Wooden Blue Records "Up with People" 7". However, Carrier dismantled and after Mitch Porter left Jimmy Eat World in 1995, the band's lineup has stayed the same.
