"A Dream Comes True" is the story of a boy's journey to become a famous soccer player and his strange encounter with a third-rate comedian. When the boy's father is tragically killed in a car accident on the way home from a comedy show, the performer, Im Sang Hyun—a struggling comedian with a gambling problem—witnesses the accident and attempts to deliver the man's personal effects, as well as his son, to the bereaved family. When he shows up to deliver the belongings and the boy, the family offers him a large sum of money to take the boy to find his mother. The unlikely pair embark on a seven-day journey that changes both the boy and the comedian forever. Written by Nakazono Miho and directed by Chang Yong Woo, this is an inspirational tale about finding connections in in unexpected places.
