- Life in a Northern Town
In this project Tom explores the towns of Haworth, Hebden Bridge and Holmfirth, taking pictures of his interpretation of 'life' as it appeared on a rather wet day in April. The tourists that usualy flock to the picturesque Pennines were nowhere to be seen, leaving the locals to go about their daily lives. This work captures the wet, dowdy atmosphere of the 'out of season' towns and picks up on the nessesity of tourism for local businesses.
