- Abington a.k.a. Abington Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States, adjacent to Philadelphia's northern fringe. The population was 55,310 as of the 2010 census, making it the second most populous township in Montgomery County. The population density is 3603.3 per square mile, making it the second most densely populated township in Montgomery County.

- Abington is a village in the Scottish council region of South Lanarkshire, close to the M74 motorway, marking the point where it changes name to the A74, following the upgrade of the former A74 road. The West Coast Main Line between Glasgow and London also emerges from the Clyde Valley at this point and begins its ascent up Beattock Summit, alongside the motorway. Abington was at one time served by a station on the railway, but this was closed as a result of the Beeching cuts of the 1960s. There is a post office in the village.

It is officially located at 231 Center Avenue east of Park Avenue, but the main entrance to the station's parking lot is located west of Park Avenue. Another one is located south of the parking lot from Summer Street. A sidewalk leading to the platform runs along the tracks from the Center Avenue railroad crossing.
