Explanation

Abjects is a mid-sized Internet Relay Chat network with an average of around 9,000 users. It was originally founded as Criten IRC Network on November 9, 2000 but closed in February 2003 due to a vast number of problems. Criten was re-opened again on November 23, 2003 and grew in popularity over the next three years. On November 15, 2006 Criten closed down again and re-opened as The Abjects IRC Network.
