  1. "Across the Hall": An expanded version of his 2005 short film of the same name, director Alex Merkin's feature-length noir thriller follows the tense stand off between a young man, his best friend, and his fiancée. Cloverfield star Mike Vogel appears opposite Brittany Murphy and Danny Pino in a film penned by Merkin and Jesse Mittelstadt - the same co-writers who collaborated on the original short.
  2. "Across the Hall" is an American short film, made available to view online or downloaded to a cell phone. The movie has two versions- the first is a 25 minute director's cut, usually shown at film festivals, the second is split into two parts for downloading. Since the film is hosted on Samsung's, the movie features the use of a Samsung SGH-D600 phone. A full length feature remake was released in 2009.
