Who is Agnes Poetry?

Agnes Poetry -- a name chosen as a tribute to their mother -- was a synthpop band composed of the siblings Rannoch, Randon and Ranita Purcell, of Manti, Utah. In 1993 they moved to Provo, Utah where they released four albums and three singles from 1994 to 2000 without a record label. In 2000 they moved to Burbank, California hoping to expand their fan base and acquire a record label. Ranita left the band in 2001. Ranoch and Randon remained together changing their name first to Bass Station Cowboy then deciding on the name Adom9. From 1994 to 2001 Agnes Poetry independently sold over 18,000 albums and 7,000 singles.
