Who is Alan Quartermaine?
Alan Quartermaine: Alan R. Quartermaine is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the East Perth Football Club in the Western Australian National Football League. Originally from Katanning, Western Australia, Quartermaine made his debut for East Perth in 1969, at the same time completing an economics degree at the University of Western Australia, where he also played for the university's football club in the Western Australian Amateur Football League. Playing either on the wing or on a half-forward flank, he won the Sandover Medal in 1975, despite having suffered from osteitis pubis during the season. Quartermaine retired in 1979, having played 108 games for East Perth, and later served as general manager of the Subiaco Football Club.
