Alfio Contini is a noted and prolific Italian cinematographer who collaborated with film directors such as Dino Risi, Pasquale Festa Campanile, Lucio Fulci, Liliana Cavani (Galileo, Michelangelo Antonioni (Zabriskie Point, Il portiere di notte, Par-delà les nuages and Ripley's Game . In 1996 he won the David di Donatello award for Michelangelo Antonioni and Wim Wenders' Par-delà les nuages.
