Who is Alfred Fishman?
Alfred Fishman a.k.a. Alfred P. Fishman, MD is the William Maul Measey Professor of Medicine and Senior Associate Dean for Program Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Fishman graduated the University of Michigan with an AB in 1938 and an MS in 1939. He earned his MD from the University of Louisville in 1943. After fellowships in Medicine, Pathology and Cardiovascular Physiology and sponsorships from the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association, Dr. Fishman taught at NYU College of Medicine and Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons.
