Aliceville (city)


Aliceville is a town in Pickens County, Alabama. At the 2000 census its population was 2,567. According to the 2005 U.S. Census estimates, the town had a population of 2,465. Founded in the first decade of the 20th century, the town has become notable for its World War II-era Prisoner-of-war camp, Camp Aliceville.
