One more weedy weekend wasp. This large active wasp loves to nectar upon flowers and builds her nest by burrowing into the sand. She provisions the nest with caterpillars. They are very active hunters and rarely hold still for long. This one lives at Frenchman's Forest Natural Area in Palm Beach County.
