  1. Fako a.k.a. Mount Cameroon is an active volcano in Cameroon near the Gulf of Guinea. Mount Cameroon is also known as Cameroon Mountain or Fako or by its native name Mongo ma Ndemi. It is the highest point in sub-Saharan western and central Africa, the fourth most prominent peak in Africa and the 31st most prominent in the world.
  2. Fako is a department of Southwest Province in Cameroon. The department covers an area of 2,093 km² and as of 2001 had a total population of 534,854.The capital of the department lies at Limbé.
