  1. Gode is a city in the Ethiopian part of the Ogaden. Located in the Gode Zone of the Somali Region, the city has a latitude and longitude of 5°57′N 43°27′E / 5.950°N 43.450°E. Gode was the capital of the Somali Region from late 1992, to appease the powerful Ogaden clan, until early 1994 when it was moved to Jijiga, which had a better infrastructure and access to communications facilities.
  2. Gode is one of the woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, named after its major town, Gode. Part of the Gode Zone, Gode is bordered on the south by the Shebelle River which separates it from Adadle, on the northwest by Imiberi, on the north by Danan, on the northeast by the Korahe Zone, and on the southeast by Kelafo.
  3. Gode a.k.a. Godé is a town in the Sabou Department of Boulkiemdé Province in central western Burkina Faso. It has a population of 3,716.
