Who is Lightning Bolt?

Lightning Bolt a.k.a. Usain Bolt: Usain St. Leo Bolt OJ CD is a Jamaican sprinter. Widely regarded as the fastest person ever, he is the first man to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since fully automatic time measurements became mandatory in 1977. Along with his teammates, he also set the world record in the 4×100 metres relay. He is the reigning Olympic champion in these three events, the first man to win six Olympic gold medals in sprinting, and an eight-time World champion. He was the first to achieve a "double double" by winning 100 m and 200 m titles at consecutive Olympics, and topped this through the first "double triple".


Lightning Bolt is a noise rock duo from Providence, Rhode Island, composed of Brian Chippendale on drums and vocals and Brian Gibson on bass guitar. The band met and formed in 1994, when the members of the then-trio attended the Rhode Island School of Design. The band signed to Load Records in 1997, and released their self-titled debut two years later. In total, Lightning Bolt has released five full-length albums, numerous vinyl singles, and appeared on several compilations.

"Lightning Bolt": Operazione Goldman\Lightning Bolt is a Spanish and Italian international co-production that was co-financed by the American Woolner Brothers. The 1965 Eurospy spy-fi film directed by Antonio Margheriti originally titled to coincide with the release of Goldfinger was not released in the US until two years later.

  1. Lightning Bolt is an American-built streamliner motorcycle that held the motorcycle land-speed record from 1978, when Don Vesco rode it to 318.598 miles per hour, until 1990. It was also the fastest vehicle participating in the 1978 Bonneville Speed Week with a one-way 333.117-mile-per-hour run. It was powered by twin turbocharged inline-4 engines sourced from a Kawasaki Kz1000, with a combined displacement of 2,032 cc. The near-stock engines were linked at both ends of their cranks by two Gilmer belts and utilized the rear engine's gearbox.
