Sanhe is a county-level city administered by Langfang prefecture in eastern Hebei province, People's Republic of China. The name of the city literally means "Three Rivers". Sanhe has 10 towns and 395 villages within those towns.

The Sanhe in the north- east of Inner Mongolia is a developed breed from Mongolian mares crossed with Russian and other stallions (Orlov Trotter, Anglo-Arab, Thoroughbred, Percheron and Chitran) and stands 145–155 cm tall. The Sanhe is a riding, racing, harness and light draught horse and is usually chestnut or bay in colour. Synonyms for the Sanhe include Hai-La-Erh (or Hailar) and, in the past, San-pei-tzü (or Sanpeitze).
