Ammadam, is a village in the Thrissur district of Kerala state in India, where traditional Christians, Muslims's Hindus reside in peace. Ammadam is about 8 km away from the town of Thrissur. Until recently, the main occupation of the residents was farming or related to agriculture. The area is under the Parlam panchayat. The paddy fields of the place are called Kole and these fields are below sea level.. Ammadam is separated from the sea by a small dam in Enamavu, called Enamavu Bandu.
