Who is Artapanas?
Artapanas was a historian who lived in Alexandria in the second century B.C. He wrote a history of the Jew, parts of which have been preserved in the writings of the church-fathers Eusebius of Caesarea and Clement of Alexandria, as well as in those of some later authors.
