Bani a.k.a. Baní is a capital town of the Peravia Province, Dominican Republic. It is the commercial and manufacturing center in a region producing bananas and coffee.


  1. Bani a.k.a. Prachi Desai is an Indian film and television actress. She is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India. She starred her television career in the serial Kasamh Se on Zee TV. On September 2007, Desai entered in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as contestant and was eliminated on November 2007. However, she entered again via the wild-card entry on November 2007 and was declared as winner of the show on December 2007. Desai's first film was Rock On!!, where she played the wife of Farhan Akhtar. Desai had to leave Kasamh Se to act in Rock On. Her next film was Life Partner. In July 2010, she appeared in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai with Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut.
  2. Bani a.k.a. Gurbani Judge is a well known face of urban Indian television thanks to her work over the years for MTV India. She is popularly known for her love of tattoos.

  1. Bani a.k.a. Gurbani is a Sikh terminology, commonly used by Sikhs to refer to any compositions of the Sikh Gurus and other Writers of Guru Granth Sahib. In General, hymns in central text of Sikh, i.e Guru Granth Sahib is called Gurbani. Among Amritdhari Sikhs, Few texts from Dasam Granth which are read in Nitnem like Tav-Parsad Svaiyey, Chaupai are also considered as Gurbani .
