Who is Jack Read?
Jack Read was an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, '30s and '40s, playing representative level rugby union for Gloucestershire, and playing representative level rugby league for Rugby League XIII, and at club level for Oldham, as a Prop, i.e. number 8 or 10. Jack Read made his début against Hull on Friday 1 January 1926.
