Lete was an ancient city in Mygdonia, Macedon and Roman Catholic titular see in Macedonia. As Liti, it is a town in the northern suburbs of Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. It was the seat of the former municipality of Mygdonia.


  1. LETE a.k.a. The least tern is a species of tern that breeds in North America and locally in northern South America. It is closely related to, and was formerly often considered conspecific with, the little tern of the Old World. Other close relatives include the yellow-billed tern and Peruvian tern, both from South America.
  2. Lete a.k.a. Larteh Language: Larteh is spoken 74,000 speakers in Ghana. The Lartehs, AKA Kyiripons, are the main inhabitants of the mountainous parts of the Eastern region of Ghana. Of the Guans {the ethnic group which the Lartehs or the Kyiripons belong} they are the largest tribe and have the most successful language to capture the minds of Ghanaians.
