A demonstration of wheel chair rugby at Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center April 3 against the New York Warrors (in red) and the Magee Eagles (in gray). Cadets got into the game playing in a wheel chair and had their hands taped to equal the playing field. Wheel Chair Rugby sport is specific for quadriplegics. Many don't have much muscle control over their hands. Matthew Castelluccio, who works in sports rehabilitation as a mentor at Helen Hayes Hospital helped begin the program.. Paul Merrett said of the eight quadriplegics in the demonstration, one was the result of a car accident, two from a motorcycle accident and five from a diving accident.
